Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

The short version

  • Your content stays yours. You give us just enough license to store, sync, and display it — that's what running the product means.
  • Don't use Collabicle to harm people or systems, break the law, or abuse the infrastructure.
  • AI agents you connect act under your authorization — what your agent does in a workspace is your responsibility, and it's all audit-logged.
  • Paid plans renew until you cancel; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends.
  • We provide the Service "as is" — we work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise perfection.

The full terms below are the binding version. "Collabicle", "we", and "us" refer to the operator of collabicle.com; "the Service" means the Collabicle web application, its MCP server, and related services.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using Collabicle on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service.

2. The service

Collabicle is a collaborative team workspace — wiki, documents, projects and boards, data tables, events, chat, artifacts, and programmable automations — with a built-in MCP server that lets you connect AI agents with role-based permissions.

We iterate quickly. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves; if we discontinue something material to paying customers, we'll give reasonable notice.

3. Your account

Keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account, including activity by AI agents you have authorized. Provide accurate information and keep your email reachable; it's how we contact you about billing, security, and material changes.

Tell us immediately at ibrahim@collabicle.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Workspaces & roles

Content lives in workspaces. Workspace admins control membership, roles, invites, agent access, and the workspace's subscription; members act within the permissions their role grants. If you join a workspace, you understand its admins govern the content inside it — including content you contribute, which typically remains with the workspace if you leave.

Whoever creates a workspace is responsible for how it's used, including ensuring the people and agents invited into it are entitled to see its data.

5. Your content

You own the content you and your team create or upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content — solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service, and only for as long as it's stored with us. We don't sell your content and we don't use it to train AI models.

You're responsible for having the rights to the content you put into a workspace, and for ensuring it doesn't violate the law or these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law, infringe intellectual property, or violate other people's privacy;
  • distribute malware, phishing content, or spam — through any surface, including chat, artifacts, and automations;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or attempt to access other tenants' workspaces or data;
  • circumvent role permissions, usage limits, or the agent audit-logging;
  • resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these rules; where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

7. AI agents & MCP

The built-in MCP server lets you connect AI clients (such as Claude, Claude Code, or Cursor) that act in your workspaces. On top of everything else in these terms:

  • Authorization.An agent acts under the authorization of the member who connected it, within that authorization's role. You are responsible for what your connected agents do, as if you did it yourself.
  • Audit.Agent tool calls are logged. Don't attempt to obscure or spoof the acting identity.
  • Third-party AI. Workspace data an agent reads is processed by your chosen AI provider under their terms. Connecting an agent to a workspace containing other people's data means you're confirming the workspace is allowed to share that data with your provider.
  • Sensible limits. Agent traffic counts toward plan usage limits, and we may rate-limit abusive patterns to protect the Service.

8. Automations & code execution

Collabicle lets you run your own automation code (TypeScript) on webhooks, schedules, and data-change triggers, in a sandboxed environment with workspace secrets. You're responsible for the code you deploy and the external calls it makes. Automations must not be used for crypto-mining, attacking third parties, evading usage limits, or any purpose that violates section 6. Execution time, frequency, and resources may be limited per plan.

9. Plans, billing & refunds

Free plan. The free plan includes the full workspace with usage limits. We may adjust free-plan limits over time.

Paid plans. Subscriptions are billed per workspace through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page; taxes may apply based on your location.

Cancellation.You can cancel anytime from workspace settings or the Stripe customer portal. You keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't prorate partial periods.

Refunds.Payments are generally non-refundable, but if something went genuinely wrong — a double charge, a billing bug — email us and we'll make it right.

Price changes.If we change prices, existing subscriptions keep their price until renewal, and we'll notify you before a renewal at a new price.

10. Our IP & your feedback

The Service — its software, design, and branding — is ours or our licensors', and these terms don't transfer any of it to you beyond the right to use the Service. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we can use them without obligation to you.

11. Third-party services

The Service integrates third parties you may choose to use — Google sign-in, Stripe billing, MCP clients and their AI providers, and services your automations call. Your use of those is governed by their terms, and we're not responsible for them. Our infrastructure providers are listed in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or creates risk for the Service or other users — for serious or urgent cases, immediately; otherwise with notice and a chance to fix the problem.

After termination you can request an export of your data for a reasonable period, except where we must delete or retain it by law. Sections that by nature survive (content license limits, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that content produced by AI agents will be accurate, or that automations will run exactly as intended. Review what your agents and automations do — especially before relying on their output.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnity

If your use of the Service — including content you store, agents you connect, or automation code you run — leads to a third-party claim against us, you agree to defend and indemnify us against that claim, except to the extent it results from our own breach of these terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Malaysia — except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory consumer protections and venue rights, which remain unaffected.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. For material changes we'll notify you in the product or by email at least 14 days before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
